Review for
JARD Browning X-Bolt Trigger
I purchased this trigger from Optics Planet dot com.
I am previous military and very comfortable with a trigger pull below the one pound mark.
I needed to shave the stock on my 25-06 Xbolt which is expected in a trigger change out.
All in all with the stock cleaning and trigger installed took about 20 min.
I did all of the tests necessary for safe operation. Bouncing the firearm, side kicking the the butt of the stock and handled it as I would in the field.
The range and sight in went well I put an additional 100 rounds through the firearm. I was extremely happy with its performance.
Cleaned the firearm and put her away.
Once in the Dakotas I safety checked it again put the safety on we went to the first prairie dog town. First round took the safety off and The rifle fired as soon as the safety was released. Looked it over again not binding anywhere. and she failed 5 more times.
Thankfully in my parts bag I had the factory trigger from Browning stored the Jard trigger.
Purchased the trigger in fall of 23. South Dakota in summer of 2024. Found it in my parts box last week.
Take care folks posting this as a safety beware message
