Despite what some say, you CAN use the factory mag release-- HOWEVER the metal mags will eat up the platic release rather quickly, so its best to replace the magazine release with the shild arms metal release right away.
The starter kit with three mags and a release replacement is a good deal. I rrally liked the g48 alot but strongly disliked the 10 round capacity. This puts you to 15 with options to extend to 20.
Super easy to replace the release. Took 5 minutes, most of that fiddling around.

Pirchased for a g45. My first trigger replacement, and it was very very easy. Watch the factory you tube video and a few aftermarket videos and you'll get it. The trigger sprimg needs be one the side closer the magazine (you'll see in the videos). I think this is why people are having issues with the trigger resetting.
Was excited to try this out at the range, and it was a great day! The trigger is remarkably smoother than factory. Crisp, clean and how all triggers should be. All the positive reviews are correct. This is worth the money. After a few magazines I noticed my shots tighter with faster target acquisition and overall bettter shooting. As long as you have the basics down, this can improve your shots. BUT if you can't do to well with the factory- practice with that first- this trigger will only polish the skills you have- not magically create them for you.

I have a silencerco threaded barrel with a Harrington Arms HA95 compensator screwed on. This trigger with that compensator has me shooting flatter. Plus, the shoe feels better on you finger pad.

Recommend this. I will be getting another for a g34.5 with the same compensator on it, very soon.

Installed on a g45 along with a timney triggers alpha comp trigger. The slide release IS tight at first install. I was working it, dryfire drills and such and it seems to be lightening up a bit. I like that I can easily drop the slide with minimal effort using the release. It does not interfere with grip, but you can feel it more (obviously). Im planning a ramge trip to try out the slode release (and trigger) and of anything is short of expectations I'll be back to update!

After reading alot of reviews, I purchased this magwell. It does seem to aid in stressed reloads. Helps to funnel the mag into it's home a bit easier / fasterI have to say. It looks sharp without being over the top and flashy. Fits great on my G45. Only issue (my fault) is I accidentally ordered the one for use with no back strap (NBS). So, since I use the medium back strap, primarily for the beaver tail- I cut and sanded smooth (but not that smooth) the back strap just below the pin hole. This gave me my beaver tail I liked and allowed use of the mag well. Sturdy mount. I do have a little wiggle felt on the pinky finger while working it kinda hard, but if it really bothers me I'll explore ways to further secure it. But it works fine for me now as is.

I highly recommend this item. It works. Just be conscious of the back strap fitment when ordering.

After reading a lot of reviews I decided on the Holosun SCS for my primary/g45. It has all the features I was looking for and more. It was literally made for these pistols, so the fit and finish is perfect. After install and some range time, I'm sold. Fast target acquisition, even though the lens is a bit smaller than others, its easy to adapt to. Came zeroed to at least 20 yards outta the box!

Loved it, so I bought another for a g34 gen 5. Same perfect fit and finish and function. Had some issues develop with this one- a bubble formed in between the glass, and the battery wouldn't charge past 30 percent. Contacted Holosun and sent it to them. They fixed it or replaced it, don't care either way cause it works flawlessly as the other one does.

$350 is an expensive purchase, at least for me. So buying 2 ... I looked at as buy once cry once (well twice, but you know what I mean). It's an investment into something I enjoy recreationaly and also into a tool I pray is never needed.

If you can afford it- get it. You won't be sorry, and if any issues arise- Holosun is great about backing up their warranty!!!

I purchased this for a g45. Since the lower region is the same dimensions as a g17 gen5, I figured it would fit and it did. I mistakenly ordered this model which is for use with NBS, No Back Strap. I prefer the medium back strap and more specifically the additional beaver tail it provides. I just cut and filed the factory back strap to be basically a beaver tail. Now I have what i was looking for. I'll probably add some grip tape later, or try my hand at stippling to make it more visually appealing.
The magwell works as intended. It does seem to help funnel the mag into the grip a little better than the factory flaired well... with repeated practicing. Overall I like this. I would recommend it. However it is overpriced in my opinion. Thats where the minus a star comes in. I don't regret my purchase, but I do wish it were less expensive.

Installed on a g45 with a Harrington arms hc95 comp. Absolutely no issues arose durimg first range day. About 150 rounds through it, no problems. Would recommend and will be back if anything comes up.!!

Ran 115, 124, 124 +p 147+p, flat nose, HP's and fmj's with no malfunction of any kind on the g45. Various brands; blazer, Winchester, SB, underwood, hornady, speer, subsonic, sig..... no hiccups.
Very noticeable felt recpild reduction. I have another non compensated g45 and usimg tje same ammo- you can tell the difference right away.
I plan to add another one of these on my g34.5 soon. Highly recommend this comp.

The g45 this is mounted to is a bump-n-the-night gun, with a a scs holosun green dot, tritium irons, weighted mag plates and a streamlight tlr7x.(few internal part upgrades to go still).

So this sticker applies easy, better than some- nice and smooth transfer. However im goving three stars due to the sharp little corners of the logo; they will peel off eventually, probably during a car wash. Other stickers like this with pointy edges have a stonger adhesive. Ive had a few stickers on my back window in my day and know this to be true. But- so far so good and l9oks nice as of today. I would buy again if it does last long enough to satisfy me.
