Decent LPK, but the takedown and pivot pin fit loose in both my upper and lower.

Because of the takedown and pivot pin fitting loose, my upper has a REALLY sloppy fit to my lower. I will not be using these pieces of garbage and now have to buy replacements to build a decent firearm.
The trigger guard is nice, the lines meet up well with my grip and doesn't have that spot that wants to bite your finger. The rest of the parts are ok, nothing too fancy.

Bastion 5.56/223 AR Threaded Trigger Guard
I don't understand why they would send 3 screws, when it should use all 4 points. To make it worse, the one longer screw didn't even fit the included Allen key. I almost returned it because of this alone. They also missed an opportunity to match the angle on the infamous trigger guard gap. (It is partially filled in, but could be so much better.) I had to buy 2 screws to install it correctly. (3 mm x .5 mm thread pitch x 6 mm button cap hex head screws)

I do like this fsp, as it does increase contrast when using buis against a dark background. The glow is never going to be too bright, even in a pitch black cave. It seems like the tritium is already old compared to pistol night sights,but I think the insert is just really small to keep the sight post narrow. Since everything is a matter of compromise, I think this is a well made fsp. In order to be brighter, the post would have to get fatter, which would be less desirable. This is NOT the one pictured on opticsplanet. Trijicon didn't collaborate to make this. Opticsplanet has lost my respect for picturing the wrong item.

I really love this sight. It is lightweight, and low profile when flipped down. Seems really sturdy. What's more to say? I added a tritium fsp to take it over the top. I really recommend one for any iron sight to increase contrast and visibility against dark backgrounds and/or low light conditions.

Not one genius thought to provide dimensions or pictures of this item installed, so good luck guessing what size it is. It is too small to do any good, nor does it match description. Also, the screws included are very long, too long to mount under a gas block, which is where this p.o.s. needs to go. Returned and buying a different afg from another company locally.
