Thought I’d save some money buying the slightly cheaper hornady die sets. 300 blackout die had nothing but stuck cases one after another, bore of the die was not polished like Rcbs, my hornady 6.5 CM die would not fully size the case leading to stuck cases in my bolt action. Replaced them with Rcbs and haven’t had a problem 1500 cases later

Endless stuck cases with 300 Blk die, body of die has visible and audible machining marks. Contacted Hornady and they blew me off. Save the hassle and buy RCBS.

I purchased the 8 inch 300blk upper and probably have 500 rds through it currently. Charging handle wore quickly to bare aluminum and I also had the gas tube misalign with the gas key causing damage, Jacob Grey handled it well though and repaired it at no cost along with replacing the charging handle (the replacement wore just as quickly unfortunately) I can tell the upper receiver is cnc machined from quality aluminum and has a beautiful finish, BCG is staked correctly. Unlike the reciever, the handguard seems to be a cheap run of the mill handguard with a rough finish and some blemishes, something you’d expect from PSA or any other low end product. I plan to upgrade to a Daniel Defense handguard eventually. Barrel is accurate enough for a shorty, 150gr supers were 1.5 moa grouped. Overall satisfied with my purchase at $550 shipped.
