This is awesome. I have half a dozen Law Tactical Folders and I've replaced three with these. For a compact setup, these really bit the bill. Folders can make the gun too thick and these allow you to detach and fit a rifle in a smaller area. I read a review about someone hitting the release button repeatedly with there hand? HOW? I'm a pretty big guy. 6'3" 220lbs and XL hands. I couldn't hit the button during normal shooting if I treid! Unless you have morbidly obese hands you are not accidentally hitting the button.

Man, I really hate to say it, but this was a total disappointment. If this was the same price as the TacStar I'd still recommend the TacStar. I've had the TacStar side saddle on a Mossberg 500 for 20 years. It was my truck gun for over a decade before I retired it. 1000s of rounds through it and the TacStar didn't disappoint. On a new Mossberg 590 Short-barrels Shotgun build I figured I would spring for the "good stuff". Boy was I wrong. First of all, the instructions totally overcomplicate it. A few illustrations would suffice. The extra wording is like an email from my 80 year old father. Just totally unnecessary and makes it more confusing. Second, the retention for the shells is stupid. It's either way too tight or way too loose. It literally scrapped curls of plastic off some of the shells. I'm shocked that anyone gave this a good review. I guess it would be fine if you have never seen anything else. Nevertheless, I'm disappointed. I might send it back and just buy another TacStar.

Over all the fit and finish of this item is great. It looks really nice and the concept is really cool. I ordered several of these to play with, but I have only installed on a CMMG Banshee 300 Series in 9mm. I currently had a Law Tactical folding adapter installed, but I didn't like how thick the folded size was. My goal for this gun (and for nothing more than giggles) is to design and build a custom case as small as possible that didn't look like a gun case. With the Law Tactical folder it doubles the thickness which really blows my goal. So far, I think this will work perfect for that.
I would have given this 5-stars except for three things....and really they are not big deal. If you like the idea and have the cash to drop...get one.
First, the endplate would not fully seat. This left an unsightly gap that showed part of the springs. It looked hideous. However, I noticed that the "stick out" on the endplate was the problem. I am using a PWS Ratcheting system, but I tried various others from Daniel Defense, BCM, and quite a few randoms from my parts stash. They all had the same problem. Nevertheless, it was an easy fix...a few seconds on the 2x72 belt grinder with a fine grit belt and she fit like a charm. I didn't have to take much off at all, so you could do it with a good file as well. If that wouldn't have fix it...I would have sent it back based on that alone. I will admit that I am quite picky though.
Second, with the buffer tube installed and ready to fire, there i

I have this mounted on my wilderness carry pistol. It's a Glock 40 10mm Long-slide. I'm running max pressure loads that rattle your teeth and this optic is holding zero like a rock. I only have a few 100 rounds through it, but this gun gets thrown around in some rough situations. It's not in battle, but certainly more than a range gun. If you know what you are doing and use the right screws and adapters then you should be fine. Guns are not legos....you need to know what you are doing.

Pretty disappointed in this product. It does not line up with the center of my rifle....it's an Arsenal so it's not a cheap AK either. There is not enough adjustment in the top rail to compensate and it's pretty bad. I will be sending this back for a return.

I purchased one of these for a CMMG Banshee pistol. I was a bit skeptical, but after installing it I was sold. The ergonomics are so much better for short LOP weapons. The steeper angle makes all the difference in the world. I went from skeptical to owning five of them in a week.

I have several Eotech optics and I like the Holosun510C better that all of them. So far it's holding up strong, but I have had it for less than a year. I'm getting ready to buy a second and a smaller Holosun for a Glock 19 MOS. I'm really impressed with this brand. As long as they continue to hold up (I have no doubt they will) then Holosun is going to dominate the hobby shooter market. If I run into any snags with my Holosun products I will update my reviews.
