Used in a PSA AR-V 7” tri-lug blowback 9mm. I bought the “Gentle Recoil System” as explained by Blowback9 on u tube and his wordpress site. This buffer, 2 tungsten spacer weights, Tubb flatwire carbine spring, Just Right Carbines extended length buffer tube. This buffer setup combined with a Magpul K2-XL grip and SB Tactical SBA5 brace, transformed the gun, from a regret to an asset.

Easy reliable primers. Not much recoil but they blast and you can tell it’s zipping outta the gun. I found the accuracy to be much better and more consistent than heavier loads from my Taurus 856 3”. Too pricey to practice with, no bulk options.

The big circle that tells you you’re off and what direction to swing to see the chevron should be mandatory design in any and every pistol reflex optic. Period. Full stop. If you haven’t tried one of these, do it. It’s great for a beginner like me or a pro forced to draw a duty weapon under duress. There’s no way to mess this up, your target is getting shots placed on it. My buddy at the range (1st time ever holding a dot-equipped pistol) ended up shooting the steel target track overhead with 22 LR because he couldn’t find the dot on my Bushnell-equipped Ruger MKIV. The range officer corrected him but that situation wouldn’t happen with the ACSS Vulcan reticle. Holosun prices are quickly approaching Trijicon levels and with good reason: no other manufacturer is putting this many useful features in their products. The solar thing, auto brightness, is useless. But the shake awake, clear glass, vital excellent Vulcan reticle, durable construction, side access battery door, is all totally awesome. Don’t waste money on a basic dot ever again.
