Good quality less expensive sling

BlackHawk Storm Single-Point Slings
I typically use a climbers hook attached to my loop by QD short sling that just gets clipped to my tactical vest, (a form of a very short single point, kinda looks like those guys who just tie 5/50 cord from their stock to their vest) ... this is the way most of my unit carried their weapons while deployed. I ordered this however, so that If I didn't want to get all my gear on, I could still quick clip this to myself for range days.

Best Butt Stock Upgrade

I ordered the Fab Defense buttstock that has the back up magazine well in the rear of the stock, I knew that a straight pad can be less that comfortable when shooting for a long time or when laying prone for long shots, so I ordered this bad boy. It works really well, handles well, feels like its part of my shoulder. I'd spend the few bucks to at least have this around and try it for yourself if you spend any amount of time behind your AR like I do.

Wow, what a Grip

I didn't want a cheap plastic grip, nor did I like many other grips from other competitors, and I've tried a lot of them. I wanted a nice stiff grip, with that rubber overlay so I could hold my AR with one hand no problem when my hands were cold or sweaty. I didn't want a finger kick out either, which some other brands had and was annoying. This grip was the perfect combo and I have loved having it thus far.

Every person building an AR should buy one of these. It was great quality, easy to put on, looks great on the gun, the QD receiver works flawlessly, and for a very reasonable price as well. Do yourself a favor and order this

United States Tactical Sling Adapter
Although this seemed good quality and all, when I ordered this over the phone, the customer service rep accidently typed the wrong number in by one digit, which ordered me this and not what I wanted, which was the version that had a QD on the clip end. But Optics Planet did send the right one after I sent this one back, the right one came back in stock, etc, so thumbs up.
Jcomp V2 is Impressive

I bought this for a few reasons: 1. I hate birdcage style muzzle brakes, 2. I needed to be able to mount my bayonet on my custom build AR, 3. I wanted side discharge ports, no upper flash by for low light/night/or optics shooting, or lower ports as that kicks up dust when I'm prone shooting. So with these in mind, this brake was one of the few under a $100 that fit all those needs. I must say, it works great! The muzzle doesn't rise much more than with a bird cage style, it keeps the noise away from the shooter. Not that this matters much, but the crack that is felt by my wife or friends when I'm shooting with this, they say it feels like someone hit you in the chest lol. I'd highly recommend.

FAB Defense Rocks!

The stock when it comes, certainly is tight going on, more difficult than a cheap factory stock, but with a little oil and working it back and forth, it wears in nicely. Great build quality as far as I can tell and its really nice having a back up 10x round or 20x, or 30x round mag in the stock. I also ordered the sniper buttstock pad which is more comfortable and shoulder fitting than the original that comes with it. So far so good. I will update as I use it more.
