First I have been struggling with an old Pact Model 1 Chrono for many years. This CED unit is easier to use than the Pact but where this Chrono really shines is when paired with a smartphone. No more writing the info down and manually entering it into a computer. You can add photos of your groups or ammo or whatever you want. It really simplifies your record keeping.
