Decent, tall bipod for the money

Barska High Picatinny/ Weaver Bipod
I had a similar but shorter bipod but when trying to use it on an AK with a 30-round mag, it just wasn't tall enough. So I ordered this Barska bipod. With the legs extended, it easily allowed the mag to clear the bench. Seems solid and sturdy. I'm happy.

Solid and well-built but maybe too much cheek-weld?
Written on Apr 30, 2024
I got this to get a bit better cheek-weld on a long-range rifle (.30-06). It is certainly very well-built and solid. I was a bit disappointed that the stock just came loose in a box with two adjustment pieces (for making it work on a different type of tube) and an allen wrench. All of that was just flopping around in the box. No bag(s), no instructions. I figured out how to mount it on the rifle and fussed with the cheek riser a bit but ultimately discovered that with the riser flat, it's actually almost too high for a good eye box on the scope. I guess this is really intended for really high AR-15 scopes. It's still a nice stock. I'm just not sure if I'm better off with this than the Magpul it replaced.

Better charging handle than what the AUG comes with

Manticore Arms Switchback Charging Handle
This was fairly easy to install and it is so much better than the standard AUG charging handle. It folds down to stay out of the way and the whole mechanism is canted down a bit more to spare ones knuckles from hitting the pic rail. It feels a little wobbly on there but I think that's just due to the piece it attaches to having some play. It is a non-reciprocating charging handle after all. Very happy with the change and it wasn't all that expensive either.

Nice solid pic-mount folding stock
Written on Apr 27, 2024
Got this to replace the non-adjustable stock that came on my JAKL. The folding mechanism was pretty well stuck at first but I eventually got it loose and folding. The stock mounted easily and it looks great, plus now I have an adjustable length-of-pull. It locks up tight, with no wobble.

Very snazzy stock but maybe missing a couple perks for the money

Review for
Tyrant CNC NexGen AR Collapsible Buttstocks
I bought this very handsome looking stock for my super cheap AR-10 build after figuring out a feed issue and getting it running great again. Kind of a present to the rifle as it were. Ha. It is very nice to look at and very solidly built. There's no wobbliness at all. The butt is covered in rubber, though it could be a bit thicker to actually absorb some recoil. But maybe that would be likely to get chewed up? The top has a carbon fiber patch that is pretty comfy to rest my cheek on though I felt like it would make sense for that piece to be extendable upwards to raise the cheek weld. I mean for a stock that's nearly double the cost of a lot of other ones I looked at, it doesn't really do anything more than a standard stock. But it is super solid and super snazzy, so that's worth something too.

They look stippled but are super smooth

Hogue Rex Zero 1 Grip
I wound up returning these grips because, well, they have no grippy-ness. With the pixelated look, I expected them to be stippled and have a good rough texture for getting a good grip on the gun but they are actually super smooth. They seem to fit fine and are perfectly good quality grips, just not the grips for me.
