While all of us have had plenty of options for improving an AR-15, this has not been the case for the AK-47 platform. I guess this is because there is no such thing as a "mil-spec" AK-47. Magpul has stepped up and created a US designed and made folding stock that actually improves upon my AK-47s. I bought two of these: one for my Century C39V2 milled AK and one for my Saiga stamped AK. I had no issues installing stock in either rifle. I had to shave a very small amount off of the front of the one installed on the Century rifle as the receiver walls are slightly thicker than the stamped Saiga. These stocks are well thought out. They swing into position tightly and do not flop around. They have the added benefit of an adjustable length of pull. If you desire you can also purchase cheek risers in three thicknesses that snap into place. Process reverses and you can go back to original stock any time. Well thought out product!

I have used Burris rifle scopes for many years. I appreciate the combination of product build quality and application to rifle scope mounting and use. Labeling this scope as a handgun scope must ensure someone mistakenly puts it in the traditional rifle mount location. It works fine on my .308 Springfield M1A Scout Squad. It would work well on the Ruger Frontier series and other brands. At the range, it zeroed in quickly. It is the only 12 power "long eye relief" scope I have seen on the market. Many brand names come and go but Burris hangs in there with great products.

B-Square products have long provided good functionality at reasonable prices. This set of rings is no exception. My only gripes are that the optics market cannot agree on what is the color of modern stainless steel rifles. My Winchester Model 70 in stainless steel is not bright. My Burris scope, coded as "nickel", is not bright. These rings have too much white in the color and are brighter than either the scope or rifle. I also object to products made in China not noted in the on-line product descriptions. The country of manufacture should be shown.

I bought these mounts to put on my Winchester Stainless Steel Model 70. It is the matte color silver color NOT bright and shiney steel. I am using a new Burris in "Nickel" color. The scope matches the Winchester just fine but these Rings are much "whiter" in color and look funny. I would rather have four securing screws per ring than the two that are used on these rings. I am trying other brands of rings at this time.

I have been hunting and building hunting rifles for 30 years. I always check out Optics Planet inventory of Burris when I need a rifle scope. Quality is consistent across models and Optics Planet usually has the best price if you are flexible as to specific model scope.

I been hunting and shooting for 30 years. Burris is one of those companies who consistently offer high quality rifle scopes at affordable prices. You can wear out two Burris scopes for what it costs to buy some other brands. But, it is pretty hard to wear out a Burris. I also like the 40mm objective lens. Scope makers seem to be always trying to make the objective lens larger and larger. For me, 40mm is about as large as I want to put on a carry deer rifle. I am not taking 500 yard shots. The 3-9x40mm is optimal for my purposes.

Tasco has long been offering good optics at reasonable prices. You can replace this scope four or five times for the cost of one of them fancy ones. Also, Tasco is one of the few companies still offering gloss black finishes. So if you are working with an older rifle that is traditionally blued, this is where to go. I like the VitalZone 500 Reticle as well. helps with the guesswork for longer shots.

If you use a standard milspec collapsible stock on your AR, you need this simple pad. Tapco makes some of the most practical and affordable accessories and this is one of them. Besides absorbing recoil, it prevents dust from entering the back of the stock where the recoil tube slides within the stock. All my ARs have one of these.

This red dot optic is well thought out, well made and sturdy. I have several. The shipping package is self-contained, no extra hardware required. Mounts simply and stays where you put it. Cannot over tighten mounting clamp. Battery life is amazing.

I have been impressed by the quality in Burris scopes at good price points. The purchase price goes toward the scope and not of lot of packaging extras you never use. This is the largest objective lens-sized scope that fit my rifle with normal height scope rings. The 42mm lends collects a lot of light and a "14" beats a "9" by a large margin.
