This a very sturdy AR15 vise block. It feels really solid and the adjustment eliminates any wobble when inserted in the mag well. It's made to be used vertically in the vise (the instructions state that the jaws of the vise jaws shouldn't be closed on the adjusting handle at the bottom) so the orientation is limited. The one drawback is that once the bolt catch is installed, you cannot invert the lower on the vise block - part of the bolt catch gets in the way (which was my experience with a my particular lower and build kit) - so you may want to install the grip before installing the bolt catch. The vise block securely holds a fully assembled rifle and the included pivot lock is a nice feature which holds the rifle open for cleaning.
