Great piston. Does exactly what it says it does. All metal construction and solid. Installation to screw it in and tap the roll pin in, took all but 1 min. It’s the removal of the old piston and thread clean up that is the pain and time consuming part. My WASR piston was welded on. Anyway set up is easy. Just follow some YT videos which 30 clicks open is around the magic number. Mine cycled just fine at 33 clicks open. I settled on 32 for the sake of reliable cycling. My casing now land about 5 feet away as opposed to 20-30 feet away. Great mod for any AK that is over gassed or if you run suppressed.

This is a nice kit. Gives your AR a nice look compared to the ordinary lower kits. I would recommend this kit if looking to give your AR a little bling. Fit and function work perfectly. I’ve put this kit on two ARs.

Very nice upper. Nice build and design. I just completed my build and it turned out great. This is a great upper for PCC. No fwd asst and no need for a dust cover. Well I can’t write much more to make the 200 word review requirement.

Look, this dust cover is sweet looking and I like that it’s aluminum. I was able to cerakote it to match my build. I struggle to recommend this to others because it just doesn’t fit well with any of the upper receivers I have. The build quality is really nice but the tolerances suck for many of the upper receivers out there. It’s actually thicker than a normal dust cover which increases the tolerances. I had to drill and enlarge the holes where the pin goes through to allow for it to clear the ejector port lip on the upper receiver. By doing this, it allowed enough play to actually close shut and stay locked. I installed this on an Odin works upper and Bootleg upper and both required me enlarging the holes for the pin. It’s irritating that it requires some drilling to make work. Timber creek either needs to thin this dust cover out and reduce its thickness or inform the consumer which upper this will work on without having to drill. In the end I was able to get them to work but drilling was required.
