Great Spotting Scope

Con: it is expensive, and it is heavy. I wouldn't want to carry it on my person on a long hunt.
Pro: It is an excellent spotting scope with great clarity. You wouldn't think good glass makes that big a difference, but it really does. I shoot .22 out to 200 yards. I had a less expensive spotting scope with a 24 - 60 magnification range and had a hard time seeing my groups at 100 yards. I agonized over spending the money on this spotting scope but I am glad I did. Planet Optics generous return policy took some of the fear out of the price.
Side by side with a decent $300.00 spotting scope proved to me that there is just no comparison. It was money well spent. I can only wonder what a $4,000.00 spotting scope is capable of.
