The product description states a width of three inches. It's more like 2.25". I had a hard time closing it with a basic 10" pistol. Zippers are not smooth either.

Spikes Tactical Ejection Port Door
I ordered the Spikes Tactical Ejection Port Door with Pirate Engraving, Black, SED7003. I was hoping this would be a nice accessory to my rifle. Upon receiving this item I noticed the front and back was all scratched up, the engraved part was a dull dark grey...not white like the picture and the protective oil had turned to a tar-like substance. OP granted me an exchange so hopefully the new one is better.

This laser fit my HK VP9 perfectly. The green laser projects to 25' even in full sun. There were some communication issues with billing but OP resolved them. Quick shipping for it being free. Very Happy!!

Very nice rubber feel and the semi-camo design of the Lava Red color looks great on an all black AR-15. Fits my hand perfectly with much more finger feel than the basic grip. One disappointment was that there's no mounting on the bottom for a cap. It's just a hollow, open ended grip.

I mounted this guy on the FAB Defense Standard Picatinny Rail for AR15/M4/M16 Handguards. High quality as everything Magpul has. Instruction are inside the box and very descriptive. Fits my hand perfectly with much more finger feel than the basic round stock handguard. Looks much better than the vertical stick one.

The picture is deceiving...but it's not a bad thing. There are actually 6 mounting nuts and bolts...not 3. Like others said some small modifications were needed but it fits well and it's strong. YouTube has good videos on pulling back the D ring without using a special tool.
