Wobbly… but holds zero!
Written on Aug 15, 2025
So these irons were my first ever irons. I had just bought my first ever semi auto, a BCM, and I was thoroughly gun poor. I didn’t have the money for glass yet, but I knew I needed something. I walked into my local gun store and saw these canted irons. They were a bit pricier than I expected, but I got them regardless. Fast forward half a decade and I’m still rocking these! I’ve changed my main optic twice, and these irons played nice both times. My only complaint is that I recently noticed that the front sight has some play and wobble to it that wasn’t there before. So I tested them at 25 yards (which is what I zeroed them for 6 years and a couple thousand rounds ago, and have not touched since) and I was dead on! I don’t know if I’d trust that wobble further out to 50 or 100 yards, but I’m content with 25. I should also probably email Midwest Industries and ask how I can tighten it up again.
TLDR: Great quality canted irons that won’t obtrude your optic of choice. Might start wobbling after a long time, but will hold zero.

Needs too much space

I was unable to mount and use the barricade because its lips curve over onto the bottom left and bottom right mlok slots. I personally have my light mount attached to the bottom right, so I was unable to install the barricade at the very end of my hand guard. I also couldn’t install it any further back without impeding on my ability to get a good c clamp on my rifle.
The price however is so low that it wasn’t worth the hassle of going through the return process so I just gave it to a buddy that only has some flip up iron sights on his rifle, he was pretty happy with the impromptu gift
So yeah, consider if you have anything else using the real estate near where you would mount the barricade. The product is by no means bad, but I guess they didn’t factor this scenario during the testing phase before launch. If they ever make another iteration, hopefully they see this!
Oh, and it didn’t come with an Allen key or any other tool to mount it. Also the front hole isn’t big enough to accommodate a standard torque driver, so mounting is a pain.

Keep my Glock on a happy diet of these whenever I go to the range. Have yet to have an issue.
