Best magazine out there
Written on Mar 15, 2025
I bought several of these years ago, and have not had any issues at all. Same quality and reliability you expect from WC 1911 magazines, but these are more of a sealed design which keeps out dirt and debris in field conditions. Recently I have been trying to stock up on some of these to give to my sons with their first 1911. Getting harder to find since Wilson combat and Larry Vickers have parted ways. Hope OP can keep getting them,

great for training

Bought this to use as an aid for training my sons before buying them a bb gun. Also for molding 1911 holsters to fit. Great attention to detail, full scale replica of a 5" 1911. Will serve the purpose.

Aimpoint PRO 1x38mm Reflex Red Dot Sight
I liked this red dot so much i bought a 2nd one. Has everything you expect in a quality red dot- easy to use controls, great battery life, great field of view etc. However, what made me select this particular dot was the value. For under $500 you get a quality red dot with flip up lens covers and a quick detach mount. Generally the qd mount alone will cost you over $100 extra, and the lens covers an extra $20-30 each.
The only cons, which arent deal breakers for me, is this is a rather large optic. I have this mounted on a PCC and it looks slightly out of place on such a small AR style pistol. Also it does add 11 oz when installed. In addition, it took a lot of adjustment to get this thing zeroed, like the windage and elevations screws were each well over a full turn off. However i used a lazer boresight to get it adjusted close as possible, and only took about 1/2 a magazine to get it zeroed at the range.
Overall id definitely recommend this product. The closest comparable dot in brand, quality and price is the trijicon MRO, and once you compare youll see that for the price and features, the aimpoint PRO is a better value.

Not a snug fit
Written on Jan 18, 2023
Attaches to your firearm rail loosely and makes noise. Not the quality i expect from Daniel defense, especially at this price. Can easily go on Amazon amd find the same product at a fraction of the cost that fits perfectly, only difference is its chinese made. I'm all about buying American, and im willing to spend more to do so, but it has to be at least as good as the cheap chinese junk.
