I wish I could put up the video I shot for my buddy. You’d see the crazy big smile on my face after showing the take-up and reset. I’m a 1911 snob as well as an M&P snob and this trigger is SO CRISP! I love the flat face feel on this Apex, like my 1911’s. I will admit I had a gunsmith install mine not because I couldn’t I just did. I forgot to tell him which spring to put in it when I dropped it off so he put the lighter one in and said he’d swap it out if it was too light. Man, this thing is ON POINT! I have it (Flat Face) on my M&P VTAC 40 I also have another Apex trigger on my M&P VTAC 9 but it’s not flat face. Also the 9 has the heavier spring in it so I can feel the spring tension difference first hand. I’ll definitely make the 40 my competition gun now with this jewel on it. Will punch steel targets with a little more authority then the 9 but might loose a little time in recoil management. Rambling,I know! However I would highly recommend this to anyone with an M&P. I Hate to sound cliché but it breaks like glass and the reset is unbelievable. If you’re going to carry it then I’d recommend the heavier trigger spring if you going to shoot competition or just paper and steel go light. You’ll have a hard time pealing the smile off your face.

Very pleased with the Head Hunter. Holds up very well the the punishment that my Ghost 420 puts on them. However I did have end come out of the tip. But nothing a little weather stripping silicone adhesive wouldn’t fix. Again 420 FPS is Very fast and it needs tough bolts to hold up to it. Would definitely buy again.

Man, this thing is awesome! I have a Barnett Ghost 420 and 420 FPS is too fast for average bolt catchers. Rips the fletching right off the bolt. But not with this beast. Mid length impact yet easy to pull out. Density is thick so make sure your tips are glued in good because I had a couple pull out. Easy fix with Vehicle weatherstripping sealant. It’s also heavy so if you’re like me and you garage keep it where are you down depending on how far you’re carrying it. Definitely a great buy.
