Bro,
So anyways this is a very very very light hand guard. I had to shave off the alignment tabs because I was using a bear creek side charging upper. That being said the hand guard has performed flawless. Would I recommend it for a home defense build? Probably not but if you want to try to build a light AR15 then this is your best bet. Goos for competition as well.

For the price, this is hands-down the best vise block I’ve used. I own a few others, but this one really stands out. It doesn’t just hold your lower receiver through the mag well — it goes the extra mile. There’s a cutout perfectly designed for driving in your trigger guard pin (a task that usually feels like juggling porcupines), and even a dedicated spot to secure your gas block while installing the gas tube pin.
It’s like Midwest Industries asked, “What little things drive builders crazy?” and then built a tool that fixes them all. Another smart, practical product from a company that clearly gets it.

This tool technically does what it claims, but not very well. The first issue is that when you mount your lower, it doesn’t sit perfectly level — it’s angled. While it does hold the buffer tube enough to torque the castle nut, the tube can still shift slightly if you’re not paying close attention, which defeats the main purpose of the jig.
On top of that, you’ll likely find yourself taking everything apart just to double-check alignment, since it’s difficult to verify while it’s mounted. The adjustment screws also leave much to be desired, adding to the frustration.
Overall, this is not a tool I would recommend. Save yourself the headache (and a return label) and look for a better option.

This has officially become my favorite grip. I’ve run through just about everything on the market — Magpul, B5 Systems, BCM, you name it. They’re all solid, but this one just feels the best in the hand right now. I’ve already put them on three of my new builds, and the vertical angle is especially comfortable on my DMR setup.
If you’re looking to try a new style of grip, stop scrolling and grab this one. The only “not-so-cool” part? If you want a plug for the bottom, it’s sold separately… and costs almost as much as the grip itself (seriously?). Aside from that quirk, this is a rock-solid product, and it’s got me checking out more gear from Die Free Company.
Bottom line: if you like tinkering with your AR builds, this is a must-try. Your rifle will thank you — and so will your hands.

This tool works exactly like it is supposed to. All I can say is measure your space between your holes and make sure they are what you need. I drilled 2 holes on one barrel for a gas block with 2 set screws. I then bore scoped it to make sure my gas ports lined up correctly and they were perfect. I also had to dimple a barrel where I had to install an adjustable gas block with 3 set screws. This jig only lets you do has blocks with 2 screws. That being said you really only need to drill out that first hole directly under the gas port for any gas block to work. That way it will stay where you need it. You do need to go out and buy a 5/32 drill bit because this jig does not come with one (cost me $9). I recommend a carbide drill bit to make sure it cuts the metal on your barrel. Also the holes to guide the drill bit are a little tight.

This is by far the best wrench out there for your AR builds. I have tried countless Chinese style wrenches and have either flat out broke them or had to toss them because they don’t fit snug and cause damage to my AR. This wrench has a nice tight fit and will not slip out when torqued down. If you are looking for a new wrench for your AR build then look no further. Great product again by Midwest Industries.
