This mag release is marginally better than the original factory part. It is slightly bigger than the original. However, unless you absolutely had the original, I would get a bigger release. I would not call it a waste of money. But if you like the size of a competition mag release you will be disappointed.
The positive on this product was installation. It is super easy to install. The worst part of the install was getting the correct lighting so you could see what you are doing. Install time was about four minutes and only required a small screwdriver. So easy, you don’t need an armored!

Excellent Product!

I own five HE 509T optics. They are simple to mount, simple to use and provide great results. The large viewing box provides a large aiming circle, which is extremely beneficial to older shooters. The closed emitters prevents fogging and debris from effecting your engagements. I have shot Vortex and other optics, for the money, it cannot be beat!

Good But Not Great

I have installed four of these on the bottom of four 24 round Glock magazines. They fit great and are easy to install. A significant upgrade from the bottoms on a standard magazine. Bought it to add weight to the mags for a quick change. Not enough weight to help with a clean drop. Mag still gets caught. This mag bottom. Could easily be twice the weight. Good manufacturing process. Good lines and done well.

This is an excellent dump pouch. Has a very solid design. It is light and you do not notice you are carrying it on your kit. Enough room to drop multiple high cap mags along with anything else you need to retain. This pouch is excellent for either the guy at the flat range just plinking or the man conducting operations overseas. Highly recommended!
