I've been mounting scopes to rifles for decades and only used my eyes to "level" them. As I've gotten older, so have my eyes, so getting them "square" isn't as easy as it once was. This little gizmo works wonders! I wish I had gotten one earlier!! You can't go wrong, no matter how old (or young) you are!

This is the second Warne RAMP mount I own. The quality can't be beat, as it is with all Warne products. And you can buy Warne's 45 Degree Picatinny Tactical Side Mount which co-witnesses with the 45 degree ramp on the rear mount, for back up sights. Or you can mount a small red dot sight (i.e. Reflex) on the rear ramp.
