Nice optic mount for adding red dot to a scope

I purchased the Reptilia ROF-SAR 30mm for Trijicon RMR on the recommendation of a former Marine sniper and instructor who is also a detective and tactical firearms instructor for the Los Angeles Police Department. I was looking for an RMR mount to install on an AR-15 with Trijicon Accupoint 1x4-24 scope. The mount arrived nicely packaged, with mounting hardware and screw bits included. I installed the mount at the front end of my scope at the 12 o'clock position. The only thing I notice is that the elevation turret cap on my scope does obscure a lower portion of my red dot, although this probably will not affect dot visibility and if I remove the turret cap, there's no problem at at. An alternative would be to mount at 10 o'clock (I have a left-handed AR) or 2:00 o'clock.

I installed these Trijicon Glock Suppressor Night Sights - Green Lamps on a new ZEV (Zaffiri Technologies) slide, for co-witness or back-up with a new Trijicon RMR. The front sight dropped right in and tightened down with the supplies screw (I had my own front sight installation tool for Glock), and the rear sight fit snuggly into the rear dovetail, using a MGW-309 sight pusher jig (highly recommened for this purpose).

My ZEV (Zaffiri) Glock 19 Gen 1-3 Upper Parts Kit arrived, packaged in a small, protective plastic envelope that listed all part contents and had a clear window to see what was inside. I was pleasantly surprised that some of the sub-assemblies were pre-assembled (firing pin with retaining cups and spring, and safety rod, retainer and spring.) This saved a few minutes. I had purchased this parts kit to install on a ZEV slide (came with firing pin channel liner, pre-installed), with a ZEV barrel, for optimal compatibility. The parts fit the slide perfectly with no need to do any tinkering, whatsoever. Placing the slide on my Gen 3 frame, I found operation to be flawless on the first dry rack and fire, and during subsequent dry firing. Next comes the range trials, which I expect to go just fine.

Ulfhednar Tripod Mini with Ballhead
I wanted a small (short) tripod to use on the bench at the shooting range, because, when shooting while seated on a stool, my regular tripod-mounted spotting scope was always positioned too high to use while remaining seated. This was true, even with the tripod legs in their shortest position (tripod with telescoping legs).
The Ulfhenar Tripod Mini has short, fixed-length legs that fold out for use. The tripod materials are metal of good quality and the construction is solid. Rubber feet. Scope is easy to install / uninstall by hand (the scope attachment hardware is also removable, making scope mounting easier). The turret ball is tightened or loosened with a little lever.
Don't screw around with cheap and flimsy tabletop tripods. Buy this one.
