Bad design flaw

I bought this mount because all I have read about the older utg pro mount was pretty good for a cheap mount and I thought a new product might be an improvement. I was wrong. The leaver broke off while first installing. I did not over tighten, instructions say to adjust where there is some tension in closing and it only took thumb pressure to close. Any less tension and the mount wiggled. If you look where it broke, a roll pen holds the lever on and the side metal on the bolt is literally paper thin at that point. There is no way that spot is going to hold up to tension. Do not buy this mount. Leapers needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. Spend the $30 something more on a midwest industries or spend less on the older utg pro.
