Eley Ammunition Bullseye Pistol .22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Round Nose Brass Cased Rimfire Ammunition
Sorry but I haven't had the chance to shoot any of this ammo yet. It looks great and the price and free shipping made it worth the purchase. I have used several Eley products in the past with excellent results and Bullseye Pistol sounded like something I wanted to try.
Just inspecting them showed perfect, uniform bullets and cases ... I'm really looking forward to my next range trip to try them out in my .22 pistols and revolvers.

The "Goldilocks" of pocket size lights.
Written on Apr 12, 2021
Yeah ... just right. Not too big, not too small, not too heavy ... just right. You can drop it in your pocket and you'll forget it's there. I have two .. one for carrying around and one for bedside. I live on a wooded lot and I can tell you this little light pernitrates deep into the woods.
The reason I stopped to write this review was because I was checking the current price and availability ... I want another for my truck.

TruGlo TFX Pro Sight Set for Novak 260/450
I have installed several sets of sights on Sigs, Kimber's, and others. I have a Wheeler Sight Tool and plenty of other tools for this work. I ordered the "Novak cut" for a Ruger SR1911. After three evenings of filing and fitting I was never able to get this front sight in the dovetail. The base of the sight and dovetail don't appear to be of the same shape at all. I don't even want to try the rear sight. I reinstalled the original white dot with no problem and threw the TruGlo's into my "just blew $100.00 junk box". Maybe you'll just need to pay a better gunsmith. I have also heard there is a "trick" to installing Novak sights and you need to call them...who knew?

Safariland 123 Concealment Magazine Holder, Horizontal - Plain Black, Ambidextrous 123-383-2
This is a great idea. Very light, compact and comfortable to wear. Not exactly fitted to any particular magazines, kind of a generic fit. Both my single and double stack 9mm Sig magazines fit OK. 1911 mags will fit too. Slides around a little between belt loops...not always a bad thing. Works on shoulder straps as well as belts. Retention strap is wide and holds firmly...great for hiking or back-packing...magazine is not falling out. But the strap is slow and not for tactical speed loads. The Velcro gets worked hard on this carrier and I really can't see a long life. I would suggest getting the belt loop fitting where you want it and then thread carrier on and off to save wear on the Velcro.
All and all I like it. Nice way to pack an extra magazine. Compared to other holster/belt/carrier items out there it seems a little over priced.

Nice knife but.....
Written on Mar 02, 2016
OK...first off I love knives and I'm always looking for something interesting to use and collect. I really wanted to love this knife and I do ...sort of. PROS: This is a big heavy duty knife, made in America, looks very cool and is REALLY sharp right out of the box. Just a few passes on the ceramic sticks and you could shave with it. The para-cord fob is sweet, a real nice touch. Great grip, fills the hand. Super nice knife for the money.
But....Cons: This not a pocket knife, unless you like carrying a brick in your pocket. HEAVY, thick. Poor design...the pocket(?)clip is backward, making the fob useless. If you use the fob to draw the knife the clip is upside down, if you use the clip the knife is upside down...meaning you have to flip the knife over to bring it into play. The clip is not reversible. This is not a fast opening knife...Auto Opening ???...hardly. Slow, stiff and awkward opening. This would NEVER replace my SOG Flash II as my EDC knife...not even close.
All that being said...a lot of knife for the money. I keep a knife and flashlight in the console of my truck all the time. This is my new truck knife. I'm sure I'll find lots of uses for it.
