It's a plastic stick, only needed for law compliance. It's ugly, but not visible, so who cares.

Easy to install

Had to replace the picatinny base plate due to my weaver-cantilever-rail. This mount was easy to install and I have no complaints on the product. My order wasn´t expedited very fast, but it was due to another product. Shipping was quick and the packaging was very good, maybe on the excessive side, if anything.
