The Radian Ramjet/Afterburner is expensive for sure, but imho, it just works! I’ve been carrying a Gen 1 G43X for a long time now and have thousand of rounds through it, but it is not exactly a fun gun to shoot for an extended range session/training. It’s snappy and I feel it in the web of my hand after 500+ rounds at the range/training.

imho, the Radian Ramjet/Afterburner takes almost all the snappiness out of my G43X, mitigates recoil really well, and makes it much, much easier to shoot faster and more accurately. It has turned my snappy G43X into a flat shooter that is actually a joy to shoot now at the range. I’ve run about 1,100 rounds through it now, and knock on wood, it’s been completely reliable.

The torque spec for the tapered set screw to hold the Afterburner comp to the Ramjet barrel is 15 in/lbs which isn’t included in the packaging I received but can be found on Radian’s website. Don’t over-torque it, and don’t use blue loctite. Had no issues with the set screw backing out at all when torqued correctly.

For holster fit, this combo fits holsters for the longer Glock 48. My previous 43X holster didn’t fit since it was closed off at the barrel. If you have an open 43X holster, the extra length may fit.

I waited until OP had a sale on them, but I would definitely buy it again.

4.5 stars.⭐️. Bought this when it was on a terrific sale at Optics Planet. Mostly have EOTechs on my ARs but wanted to try this out on a smaller 7.5” .300 BLK AR pistol build. Locks up tight in the top pic rail, but imho the retention screw could be better. It’s a torx head screw, but a much smaller torx head size that could be stripped if you over tighten it. It’s an enclosed optic and has additional flip up protective covers on both ends. I got the green MRS with the dot and circle of death, similar to an EOTech. The backup solar feature is a nice added bonus. Zeroing in the sight was easily done, and the elevation/windage adjustments were positive but not super firm. I’ve shot over 1,000 rounds with it on, and it hasn’t lost zero yet. Battery compartment is secure and has a rubber gasket to protect against water intrusion. One of the best features is Holosun’s shake awake feature that puts the optic in a sleep mode to save battery life, and turns right back on with the slightest movement. I’ve tested it more times than I care to admit, and it works every time. Great for any home defense set up. Beats the EOTechs I have that all have to be manually turned on. One less thing to worry about if you have to grab your home defense weapon in a pinch. Can’t speak to the durability since I haven’t beat it up yet in training, etc., so ymmv. Would definitely buy again.

Bought a few of these for several AR pistol builds. They fit my medium sized hands perfectly, and I get my 2 bottom fingers hooked on them for a perfect hand stop. Lock up was solid and tight with no wiggle using MLOK slot. These may be a bit too small if you have very large hands. Cable management slot is very useful if you have some dangling wires from lights/lasers/etc. Otherwise, terrific, inexpensive hand stop for AR pistol builds. Would buy again.

Bought these to cover the empty MLOK slots that weren’t being used on some AR builds, and give my support hand some limited cover from a hot barrel. They fit perfectly and sit flush against the MLOK rails that I have. On the shorter pistol build, some of the MLOK slots were smaller than the average slot but I was able to trim these covers to fit perfectly. They don’t fall out unless you pry them off, and they’re inexpensive enough that I bought several packs to fit multiple builds.
