This is my initial un-boxing review. I'm still a little dumbfounded as to how nice this axe really is. The wood is perfect !! Not one knot...the grain is oriented perfectly, and there is no air space between the lug and the shoulder. The grind is very nice, and decently sharp.....heck, they have to leave something for me to do...which is give it a nice hone. I already put a first coat of boiled linseed on it, and now can't wait to take it to the woods. From what I see though, I have nothing to worry about....this axe appears to be made flawlessly. I've read/watched dozens of reviews of most all types/styles of plate carriers in my price range, and this ended up being the one I went with. It was NutnFancy's review on YouTube that sold me on it. It does take a bit of time to get used to how to adjust it, but once you have all your adjustments made, it's comfortable,and easy to take on and off. I just peel up the corner of the Admin pouch, and rip away one side of the cumberbun, undo the quick release buckle, and pull it up over my head. I must say though....I never thought freakin hook and Loop could be so tough to pull apart when new...if you get one of these, you'll find out what I'm talkin about. Size-wize, I'm 5'10" 230, with a bit of a gut, and I didn't have to make any adjustments to the cumberbun at all. I, for the moment, have opted to leave the shoulder pads off, so my battle belt with harness can fit better over the shoulders without all the bulk...I may change this later on, but for now, that's the way I got it. Works great at not allowing scope flash. Although, you do see a hint of the honeycomb pattern when you first look through the scope, it does go away when you get the right eye relief, and start shooting.

So far, I really love this scope. I was able to get this FDE to match the rest of my AR furniture. I wanted a scope that could do it all, and after watching a few videos on YouTube, I decided to go with Primary Arms. These guys are giving Vortex a run for their money. Ok, now with an honest review...for one, the reticle is smaller in real life than the way it looks in videos, but after I got the diopter adjusted to my eye, and the reticle sharp, I quickly got accustomed to it. 5x is enough magnification to reach out there, and the scope is also very good with QCB, with both eyes open. It took a little practice, but I was able to bring the gun up and acquire the target quickly. The math was easy for zeroing too,...each click is a 1/3 MOA..so 3 clicks is an inch at 100yds. After making my adjustments, I was all over the bullseye. I tried to use the illuminated reticle, but out here in AZ. the sun was too bright to see it, even at the brightest settings..no surprise there...the illumination is for low/med light conditions. The glass is crisp and clear..no issues, the clicks on the turrets were clean, audible, and I could feel them as well (a dime works good) I like the flip up lens caps, and they fit very snug...however, I am prolly going to use bikini covers instead...just my preference. All in all, I'm very impressed with this scope, and look forward to getting to know it better with ranging and all. Some say it's a little heavy, but it's only 1 ounce heavier than my last sc
