Bought the Athlon to mount on my Daniel Defense DD5V3 but have not mounted it yet. I was surprised to see the aluminum flip caps are included over plastic and construction of the scope overall really is built solid. I chose the Athlon over the razor due to cost and will be mostly used for punching targets at the range
