I was really looking forward to receiving this product and using it. Problems were it did not fit my Sig P220R Carry as advertised. The retaining strap was about 1-2 inches too short to fit around the external hammer. (Almost seemed the designer thought the Sig p220 was striker fired, *hint* it isn't) I even tried the ziplock bag trick, where the instructions tell you to wrap the pistol in a plastic bag, and then ease it into the holster. I've had stiff holsters before, that wasn't the problem here. It simply wouldn't fit my model as promised on the product description. Secondly, the plastic square "joiner" device, joining all the straps on your back, feels made of the flimsiest, cheapest piece of plastic, and would pull apart with the least pull of force or tension. The "steerhide" leather, is also very thin, uncured, untanned and untreated and seems wouldn't last after a few years of use. For the price of $170.00+ dollars, I expected lot more, and paired with my satisfaction of another Galco holster purchased years ago, I was surprised at the low standard of workmanship. I returned the item, and I never return items I've bought online, 'till now.
