I like to support American companies whenever I can especially when it helps veterans but the quality of this barrel was terrible. The barrel wasn't even finished being machined. The bore had loads of chatter, wasn't honed, and had burrs in the rifling. I decided to try installing anyway. I inserted the barrel into a Live Free Armory G19 slide but when installed on the frame I couldn't rack the slide. Turns out the clearance cut angle on top of the barrel was machined so small the barrel still got hung up on the slide. The replacement barrel is better but still has chatter in the bore and the bore finish is far from the 8 microns they claim. It's still a bit of a struggle to install but with some persuasion it goes together. I bought 3 Live Free Armory products and had to warranty 2 before using and returned the 3rd due to quality. Just buy Glock and have no worries or regrets. I would have given 1 star but they were quick to exchange the barrel. I can't believe optics even sells this stuff. With their quality issues, their own products not working with each other, and products not even matching their description, I don't trust it. It's going in the trash before even using so no one gets hurt. Waste of time and money.

I wanted to support a veteran owned and operated company that keeps everything in the USA but after having a few of their products I won't even try them. Had to send back due to lack of threads for sight mounts, only .0065" thread engagement. The replacement was just as bad. Finish is also poor. Came scratched just from the packaging. The burrs didn't bother me since I assumed it wouldn't be deburred. The more I looked at it the more issues I noticed. I bought 3 items from them and had to warranty 2 of them before assembling and sent the 3rd back. Save yourself the time and money and buy Glock. I would have given 1 star but live free was fairly quick with exchanging the slide. I'm very surprised optics even sells these products.
