Used with the picatinny Rail. this vise will securely hold your AR Upper Receiver in place for servicing. I would recommend using the Rail Mount Side, which is much more secure over the tabs on the upper, which could break under high tension. Use it in conjunction with a Reaction / Upper Receiver Rod to hold barrel in proper alignment while servicing the barrel or muzzle device.

I purchased this Shield RMSc for ny Sig P365 with a Strike Slide. Very easy zero in, so far has held zero over 200 rounds. The mount on the Strike slide will only use the screws to secure the sight to the slide, however it is tight enough against the cut it should not, and so far has not moved, You do have to remove the sight to replace the battery and re-zero, however that should be checked regularly and all batteries changed every year in your optics and Lights, Lasers. I see a complaint from a previous reviewer of this awesome sight. You can get a cover that fits perfectly on the site from Dreamland Plastics. They are also on Amazon. Crimson Trace wishes they could make a sight of this quality!
