Sims AirTech Precision-Fit Recoil Pad - Ruger Skeleton Stock

I like the AirTech pads - they do a good job of absorbing felt recoil. I ordered this one for my .300WM, which on this stock, kicks like a mule. When you purchase the pad, there will be instructions in the package for a Ruger Skeleton stock including the need to call Sims to order an adapter plate - this is not included in the package and is required to mount it on the stock. Sims sent it out right away at no charge. It is a plastic plate with one mounting screws that fits into the recess of the stock and then the pad mounts to that plate with the original screws. Other than taking additional time after receiving the pad to get the plate before I could mount it, no complaints on it.

I wanted a way to safely and efficiently store and transport loaded mags as well as have different loads maintained separately or otherwise more easily identified. This was a great solution to my need. At first, it seemed to have a lot of wasted space with the foam insert, but with loaded mags, the weight isn't too much for the handle and the mags don't rattle around on each other like they do in a regular box without the foam insert.

Great can, ideal size, functionally stackable, good latch and hinge, overall great value for the price. I have several and will likely buy a few more. I'm not so much into the Zombie "thing" but the green is cool and I like the can. My ONLY complaint and reason for not giving 5 stars is the handle on a couple of mine, would sometimes "pop out" of the connection/swivel bracket when heavily loaded and handling from an odd angle, for example - retrieving from a high shelf and then grabbing the handle in an other than straight up/down fashion, or from a low shelf and pulling forward while lifting. I've learned to handle those with heavy contents more carefully.
