Phenomenal marching gun is very reliable. My 10/22 was running fine before with the original bolt but I have Kidd's barrel and trigger and I had to complete the riddle with all Kidd. I made the mistake of not buying Kidd at first, Green mountain barrel, Ruger bolt and a BX trigger it shot ok maybe 1.25 MOA not bad but not what I'm looking for. Switch everything out and this gun with SK long range averaged .37 out of 10 groups! That is very accurate for a 10/22. Save your money buy Kidd it's worth the extra coin.
This trigger is flat out amazing one of the best triggers I've felt in any platform or caliber. If your goal is accuracy then save your money and get this there is a reason why it's so expensive.
Had a green mountain barrel first that shot decent can't complain for the price but not the accuracy I was looking for, decided to drop the coin I have everything Kidd but the receiver. This barrel with SK long range averaged a .37 that was ten five shot groups! That competes with my CZ457 MTR impressive if you ask me. Save your money y'all and just wait to get Kidd stuff it doesn't even compare there 2 stage trigger is one of the best triggers I've felt in any caliber.
I have a Atlas V8 on another rifle and I prefer the GRND it’s much easier and faster to adjust to extend the legs you simply just pull you don’t have to manipulate anything which is quite difficult one handed on the atlas. Then the tilt adjustment is a much better design as well and again is much easier to manipulate and locks in way tighter the atlas if you tighten it as much as you possibly can by hand the tilt is still not locked in on the atlas.
Save the 10 bucks get this over Arisaka, it’s machined well it’s a simple product works great. Made in the USA don’t see a reason to buy more expensive. Mounted up to a stream light HLX and aero upper no problem
This scope is better than Viper PST in almost every category for $250 dollars less! This scope is a 1X8 vs 1X6. The Argos is over a inch shorter over a ounce lighter with near identical eye relief and field of view. I would give the Viper a small edge in glass clarity but not worth the $250. Athlon also has the same warranty as vortex they replace anything no questions asked.
Robust great field of view I do concur that the reticle is hard to see I think this was definitely designed to use a magnifier but on the flip side I find the chevron and horse shoe superior to just a dot the shoe is great for fast target accusation and chevron for precise shots.
