Great minimalistic upgrade.

Put this on my 5.56 rifle build. Very nice feel to it, and does what it's supposed to do. These should be the standard bolt catch on every AR15 pattern rifle. My only complaint is that the side of the catch opposite the button is unfinished, and has bandsaw marks. Mine had a burr along that corner that caused it to bind a bit in my receiver, so i had to do some filing on it to make it function smoothly without binding up. I modify practically everything, so im not taking stars off for that, but they could have at least machined that surface and deburred the edges. That being said, you should always expect to have to make modifications to anything that comes with the word "universal" on it. Would recommend and buy again. Plan to get another one for my .300blk pistol.

Pretty Good

Used these on both my .300blk pistol and my 5.56 rifle build. I like the design of this one, its minimalistic, and the hex bolt holding it together seems much sturdier than the ones with the tiny screw.
It can be kinda mushy if you use an LPK detent. The nitrided detent that comes with the ambi selector doesnt seem to wear as quickly.
I polish the detent mating surfaces on the selector a bit, then install it and work the safety a couple hundred times to wear it in until i get a nice, crisp click that flips with a light touch and doesnt bind in between settings.
I think its a great addition to my builds, and intend to use these on all my future builds as well.
