Unhappy Customer

This is update to my original review. After one year of usage, the connector is no longer fit tight due to the straight connection instead of 90 degrees so now, the unit turns off by itself all the time so I am back to using the CR123 battery which doesn't last very long and expensive to use.

My first mistake was to buy the Armasight Zeus pro 336, 50mm, 60hz for $7k. At this price, you think the optic would be good but it is horrible. One can see an animal from long distance but putting the crosshair on vital is very difficult due to poor image quality. Also, this unit eats up CR123 lithium battery which force me to buy this battery pack for $320. $320 for a rechargeable battery, this has be to good but as it turned out just like the scope, it is a poor design. One can buy the 2 rechargeable battery on Amazon for $10 bucks but the charger that came with this can only charge 1 battery at a time. How retarded is this. One can buy a charger on Amazon with 4 batteries included for less than $20. In fact, I found a similar charger that came with this unit on Amazon for $2.25. The mounting connector that mates to the scope sticks out like a sore thumb and it has to be removed if one is going to put the gun in a case holder. The case holding the batteries are of a OK quality. I can't see how this can be $320 but if one bought the Armasight scope, one has no choice but buying this unless one wants to replace 4 CR123 battery on each hunt. I cannot believe that the Armasight engineers design such poor quality product at such high prices. I will never buy any Armasight/Flir product again.
