Safariland mid ride holster adapter

I have 2 Safariland GLS holsters and I have this attachment for both. It gives me the best height for a natural draw. The only negative I have is that the belt loop is too wide for a standard belt so I recommend having a wider belt, like a duty belt, or attached to the inside belt of a belt/pad setup.

Safariland 579 Pro-Fit w/Belt Clip Holster
I have one of these holsters for work and love so much I bought it to start in competition shooting and I love it. It fits a huge variety of pistols without the added shim. Adding the shim just includes some other pistols. My Sig Sauer 226 Legion is a little snug, but my S&W M&P 9 Pro CORE fits perfectly with out an optic. Haven't tried with an optic yet.
