I would give it two stars if I hadn't been a fan of EGW for years. This is very disappointing, aside from the fact I waited for 20 months for it to arrive. I wasn't expect it to be a drop-in part for all 1911s but it's way too big to fit in any of my 4 1911s without heavy fitting. I made it work after grinding a big chunk of material off from all 4 sides of the shoe. Jus for the reference, the four 1911s I tried are made by Springfied, Ruger, Kimber and Bul Armory, not anything specially customized in any way.
