I purchased the Athlon Helos 6x24x50 f1 side focus rifle scope in June of 2018. I mounted it on my Browning BAR 30.06 and sighted it in at an area that allowed me shot out to 1000 yards. I should also mention the retical I chose was APMR FFP IR. The reason I like that retical is it has a lot of windage & elevation lines. I didn't want to use the terrets to line up my shots at distancees out to 1000 yards. I am electronically challenged & by the time I figure out how many clicks to adjust the terrets the animal would have moved & I would have to recalculate & I would have hit the wrong button or # on my phone miss my shot. I sighted the scope from 100 to 1000 yards by knowing what each line corresponded to in yardage. I made a cheat sheet & had that on the stock. When I went moose & caribou hunting in September I seen a medium size bull caribou decided to take it. It ranged at 920 yards. I lined up on the line that corresponded to 900 and shot. I hit the caribou center front shoulder(lung). It fell at 922 yards measured with way points on GPS. I highly recommend this scope. I also broke the side parralex on the hunt. I sent Athlon the scope. Within 10 days I received a new scope NO CHARGE NO RECEIPT NO HASSLE NO QUESTION. That is how warrenties are sapossed to work. Very professional company & very good optics priced about half of the other reputable optics. I would and will buy more of their optics.
