I am using this scope on my Remington 700 SPS 308 tactical rifle. If using a picatinny rail I would advise using the low scope rings to bring the scope down closer to the barrel. The optics on this are what you would expect from scope costing hundreds more and has a good look on the Remington rifle.

Perfect fit and look on my Remington 700 SPS Tactical 308. Easy to put on and works well with Vortex Viper rings. I would recommend the low height Vortex rings is using anything up to a 44mm objective scope.
