Opened the package and was initially impressed with the mags. I then inserted the first mag…it was tight fit, but it locked in. I then hit the mag release…it didn’t drop free…or move at all. I had to carefully force it out of the gun, which was not easy. I inserted the second mag…it only went in halfway. I decided not to force it in, lest it too would become stuck. I then tried my Magnum Research mag. It went in smoothly and locked in place. I hit the mag release button and the mag dropped freely. I did a side by side comparison of the Pro-Mag and Magnum Research mag. I noticed that the Pro-Mag’s last round slide lock metal protrusion was slightly higher than the Magnum Research metal protrusion. I have other Pro-Mag magazines which have been hit or miss (pun intended) in their quality and performance. I am returning the mags. I will pay the higher price for the Magnum Research mags. “Caveat Emptor”
