Works well with existing day scope

I use this on my 308, 223, and 300 blk. All have different size objective lenses and the Apollo fits with all of them. You just need a long enough rail to support the device. I am only using the presets using no reticle since I have my day scope. My primary use will be for pigs and hopefully coyotes. I have no experience with this type of technology but it appears fairly simple to use with very clear instructions. The peopl at Armasight are very knowledgeable and eager to help. I have not had it out in the field so I have no comment on battery life. I find the cost of the extended battery pack ridiculous and will simply exchange batteries when they expire.
Net......it gives me the flexibility and quality I need. One good thermal scope that can be interchanged with all my rifles.
