This spotting scope is okay quality, but not what I think it should be for the price. Stick with Nikon or Leupold in a similar price range. The tripod is a joke...don't expect to be able to use it. It is a tabletop model and not really good for much. Based on the size of the scope, you need a much heavier tripod to keep it steady while viewing.
