Review for
Barska 4-16x60mm Euro-30 Pro Rifle Scope
I now have two of these scopes. They last about two years and then you might as well throw them away.
Barska's customer service is non-existent. When one of the two were replaced under Barska's limited lifetime warranty the replacement could not be zero'd in until I wrapped tape around one end under the mount. The second needed replacement and I actually received an email after weeks telling me that the "Limited Lifetime Warranty" was limited to one year.
Needed to replace a $2 cap for the battery under warranty and was told the cap would be replaced free but there would be a $25 shipping and handling charge.
Optics Planet is not going to help you with Barska, so BUYER BEWARE!

Amazing light gathering. I see well when others are out of the stand. Only negative is that there is no sunshade available for this scope when you a hunting in bright sunlight. Will purchasing another to mount on my Marlin .44 prior to next season.

Wrote a review in August, 2014 and I am still raving about this scope. First one went on my Remington 7600 .243 hog slayer. This second one is going on top of my Remington 742 30-06.
Hard to say how pleased I am with the unit. First one was initially on my Marlin 1894 .44 mag and it held up great to that pounding prior to going on my .243. Shooting iron sights on the .44 but will soon be making a decision on another Barska for it. Open to suggestions.

Great product

Brings them right to your front door! Really easy to use and the critters come running. Coyotes have become a major problem in the area and Georgia has encouraged the culling of the animals. I have had no problems with the unit but be sure to register it because I've found Optics Planet to be of no help in providing proof of purchase.
I have a very fine Barska rifle scope (6x24-60)that has a lifetime warranty but I might as well throw it away because I misplaced the paperwork on it. I buy all of my optics from the company but they were of NO help in proving the purchase. Barska's repair price is just about what I paid for the scope.
