Got it for my Armasight Prime 5X gen1+ night vision monocular. Really adds extended range to the built in IR Illuminator... lights up distant objects! Easy to mount and use... does not add much additional weight.

Solid AR15 Tri-Rail Barrel mount... well made and versatile... I'm going to use it mount a spotlight on an AR. It is currently mounted using a smaller single barrel mount but it does not completely clear the sling... this one will eliminate that.

Great illunimated reticle scope

Great illuminated reticle scope... I chose this Vertex over Burris and Primary arms because of the reticle and 556 ballistics settings. Tremendous improvement over my Bushnell AR scope in dim light and night target acquisition. Mostly positive customer reviews also was a factor. One review addressed that this scope paired with the Streamlight TRL-1 Game Spotter light was a great Hog night hunting combo... so I now have the Vortex and the Streamlight TRL-1 Game Spotter light (also bought from OP) mounted on my AR... and it is awesome! The green LED beam is very effective in illuminating targets out to 100 yds and farther and either the Red or Green illuminated reticle show up very well. Can't beat Optics Planet for quality product at great prices.

I wanted some kind of night illumination for My AR... this Game Spotter provides effective dual purpose illumination for GP use and night hunting of Feral Hogs and other animals which can be legally hunted with artificial lighting.
