1st Gen work in progress

Written on Dec 15, 2025

Charging handle needs to be made more robust, especially plastic loop part that comes in contact with pistol slide. CAA MCK is on their 3rd gen charging handle you can buy and retrofit your existing mck, hopefully Meta Tactical does same thing in near future. Stock Brace is a bit wobbly, good news is you can buy upgraded all aluminum brace for $ 90 approx from Meta. NO TRIGGER safety, which means carbine range toy only at this point. Gen 1 is not suppressor compatible, assuming next gen will address. Compact size is much better than MCK s and some metal inserts in plastic meta tac frame frt and back gives it more rigidity=better accuracy along with top metal rail like later MCK s. Plastic inserts that hold pistol in place inside meta frame appears as cheaply made as MCKs.... so once again range toy.... but a fun range toy!

Better than orig thought!

My First harsh review is being amended. After breaking in a bit & taking to range and appreciating the build quality more( although I std by initial review as far as a very unimpressive thin material around trigger guard that encloses pistol, if they thicken that critical part of device and redesign the mag holder with push button std release mag and refine fit of mag holder so not so hard to attach, probably done that way to compensate for flimsy design around pistol guard.....you'd then have a fantastic device, as it stands now it s pretty good though overall. Stock and charging handle are both rock solid and the metal insert length of device adds a lot of rigidity.... accuracy. So thumbs up for a gen 1!

Good Idea but Weak on Build Quality

Written on Oct 29, 2025

Flimsy plastic where gun is secured to device, not robust enough to last very long. Better off leaving one pistol in device and trying to clean while in device as much as possible. Fore grip/ mag holder is the other weak point.... getting it on/off frame is ridiculous, way too tight...Magwell just poor fit and mag release is bad design, really cheap... like a kids toy. Im retired LEO, this is not even remotely close to a flux in quality, save your $$$ and get something better.
