This is the best hand primer I have used in 40 years. I used to have several of the old Lee hand primers that were OK, but this thing blows them away. The cam link on the Lee's used to wear down and not seat the primer all the way. This has an adjustable primer depth setting that works great. I like how durable and well made this unit is too, no flimsily pot metal or plastic. I like the size of the detachable tray, it allows you to set a whole 100 pack on it. I also like how the tray detaches for loading and unloading primers.

The only minor downside would be this beast is heavier than most hand primers and is set up almost backwards from the Lee. Meaning to point it away from you during use, you have to use your fingers to pull the lever, opposed to using a thumb. The price could be an issue for some buyers, but I feel if taken care of your grandkids will be using this tool. Additionally it comes complete with a nice durable case and a full set of shell holders.

This is an awesome product, its solid, sturdy, and well built. It functions well beyond my expectations. This is the second Fab Defense Gen II T-Pod I own. The other one is the G2-FA, the same solid design, but has the addition of a forward mounted flashlight. It has an integral button that allows you to either turn the on or simply press the button to pain someone momentarily. Either option of the product is a serious upgrade to any weapons platform!!
