First chance to try this thing out and I'm impressed. Out of the box it printed about 4" low at 50 yards, but a few shots later and it was right on the money. I was sighting in on a 3/4" dot at 50 yards, and with the optic turned down low you can actually see and get good hits even with no magnification. I like the size of this optic. Very small, very light weight, but very useful to have on my weapon. I like the green dot over red and would choose it again if I could. The LED on mine is a yellowish green color. My favorite feature is the auto on/off always ready to use. Field of view is way better than other red dots I've tried in the past.

The Holosun HE403B-GR is very compact and solidly built. The rail attachment is a simple screw that I expect to hold well with locktite on the threads. The glass is clear and doesn't have a blue tint to it like some do. I've compared it side by side to a red dot and I like the green better. To my eye the green is just easier to pick up. Auto on/off feature is really nice to have and will save battery life. One less thing to worry about. I plan on using this unit quite a bit more. Also comes with rubber covers. So far so good!

For as inexpensive as this grip is, it blew me away how nice it feels in the hand. It's firm and yet a bit squishy feeling. It fills out the hand nicely, and has an added thickness on the right side to index the finger properly on the trigger. I like this grip a whole lot more than the standard hard polymer magpul grips. This is a good buy for a pistol grip. I really like it.

So, after moving across the country and pulling my rifle out of storage, I finally got to test this thing out. Do I still like this scope? Heck yeah! This scope is great! I zeroed the scope at 50 yards using the "1.9" low at 10 yards" method. I was nearly dead on at 50 yards. I shot about 200 rounds of .223 with this glass and I really like it. I didn't get the normal eye strain from using it. The glass looked clear as a bell from 10 - 300 yards out. The center dot inside the diamond is tiny enough to place accurate shots on my 10" target at 300 yards without much effort. The illumination is great, and very visible in daytime, but not necessary as the black reticle is perfect for daytime shooting. On 1 power the diamond works like a fast aquisition red dot. The zoom lever is nice to have for transitioning between near and far targets quickly. The capped turrets are finger adjustable in 1/2 minute increments which I now prefer. The scope held zero just fine. I mounted the scope using an Aero Precision mount which I have on almost all my rifles now. It feels rock solid and doesn't take up too much space on the rails.
On 8 power you can easily hit 10" targets with no holdover at 50, 100, 200, and 300 yards! Next week I may get to check the holdover marks for 400, 500, and 600 yards!

I wanted something with more power than a 1-4, but not a another 3-9 or the expensive 1-6's out there. Then along comes the Atibal XP8 1-8. I did my research, compared other options, and ordered it for just over $300 with discount. I was pleasantly surprised by the Atibal. It feels very robust and well built. A bit on the heavy side. The dials feel great and give a very audible click. The illumination works well - it's simple and definitely daylight bright on settings 7-11. The included cat tail is a nice feature that you'll appreciate having. I wasn't sure if I'd like the diamond reticle, but it looks and feels fine to my eye. The reticle is simple, uncluttered, and the center dot seems appropriately sized. The bdc drops out to 1000 yards seems a bit excessive, but whatever, it's there if you want to lob one out there. The glass on the scope I received is pretty darn clear with just the tiniest bit of edge distortion, but very quite acceptable. The glass is not as good as my Leupold 2-7x, but as good or better than the glass on my Nikon P223, so for that I'm pretty happy. I'm liking the generous power range this scope offers in a small package and a reasonable price. It's a pretty flexible little scope! Eye relief feels good. The eye box starts getting a little sensitive at 7-8 power, but it's manageable. This scope will probably not be used on a bench rest shooter so minute-of-head will do. For a budget close to medium-range rifle build though, I think this

This commercial MOE stock is being coupled with a UTG buffer tube because the UTG stock was too heavy for my liking. In this application, the MOE stock was an extremely tight fit. After about 10 minutes of sanding it now fits beautifully. I'm very pleased with this buttstock. It is a budget friendly buttstock that does everything you need and nothing you don't need. It is lightweight and very functional just as expected. I was hoping to get another Magpul sticker. Nope. Maybe next time. Thank you Opticsplanet for the fast shipping as always!

This thing is super sharp image wise. Excellent glass. Firedot is nicely centered with no fuzziness or haze around it like you get with most red dot sights. Adjustable brightness feature is a plus, so is the auto off/on feature. Shoots great with very predictable POI adjustments. Coupled with a lightweight aero precision scope mount, this thing sits nicely perched on my 18" MSR. I was a little hesitant to put this large of a scope on an AR, but it works great and does not add much bulk or weight. I'm diggin' this set up! In the future I might put VX-R 3-9x40 on a 20" MSR. Really impressed by this scope and firedot feature! Way better than other scopes in its price range. I've looked at a lot of them and this one has great value and performance.

It's soo comfortable! Has just enough squish in it to allow for a firm yet comfortable grip. I prefer the grip angle of this over the Magpul grips also. I own 4 of these now! For the price, I'm not sure if there is a better grip out there. ATI is making some awesome products, and this X2 Scorpion is one of them.

It's a metal tube. It's not complicated, but it has great features that set apart. I like the slim profile of this handguard and most of the new UTG PRO products. It's pretty slim, so make sure to use a low profile gas block. I have a a few other UTG handguards now, and I have to say they're all fantastic, just pick the right length for your gas tube set up. I like that this handguard came with a sling attachment. The anodizing on this handguard is very good. I know this because I sandblasted the tube in prep for a cerakote job I did on it. The fit and finish is exceptional, and I think m-lok is the way to go. Installation on this was a breeze. I used this tube on a 5.5 lb rifle build and I'm super happy with my choice!

I was looking for a good low power scope, and this scope checks all the boxes for my needs. It is relatively small, lightweight, has illumination, and easy to use thanks to the power control lever. Being that this is a first focal plane scope, it has the added benefit of acting like a red dot at 1x and then a magnified optic at 4x. So far no complaints about the quality of the glass or the scopes quality. It appears to be plenty bright for daylight use too. It is actually better than I thought for the price and has some great features.
