I mounted the Olight PL-3R Valkyrie on my M&P 2.0 4.25 using the included 1913 rail key, which fits the pistol perfectly. The lock-up is solid with no movement or shifting, even under recoil.

The 1500-lumen output is extremely bright and provides excellent flood and throw for close to mid-range use. The beam has a strong hotspot with good peripheral spill, making it great for home defense and low-light scenarios.

One of the best features is the magnetic USB charging. It is convenient and removes the need to take the light off the firearm to recharge. Battery life is solid, and the light has performed reliably during multiple range sessions. The ambidextrous paddle switches are easy to use and responsive.

The light can get warm during extended use, but that is expected with higher-output lights. It is a bit bulkier than some compact options, but the performance makes up for it.

Overall, the PL-3R is a great option for the M&P 2.0. It is bright, rechargeable, and well built for the price.

The Vortex Defender-CCW fits perfectly on my Hellcat Pro, allowing me to maintain co-witness—something I really appreciate. It feels solid, holds zero well, and was easy to install. I also like that it comes with multiple screw options for different micro-compact pistols. Battery replacement is hassle-free since you don’t have to remove the optic, eliminating the risk of losing zero.

I previously used a Holosun 407K but didn’t like that it required a mounting plate, which made me lose co-witness. Both optics have a similar window size, though the Defender-CCW has a shorter battery life due to its CR1632 battery instead of a CR2032. That’s the only real downside, but the unlimited lifetime warranty makes up for it.

Overall, the Vortex Defender-CCW is an excellent choice for micro pistols with an RMS/RMSc footprint, offering durability, ease of use, and a great sight picture.

I was looking for a hunting rifle scope and since I’m very familiar with Sig sauers LPVOs I was impressed with its clarity and how light it is. I’m still new with range finder’s and its functionality but seems to be a really good tool.
