It’s decent with slight modifications. Release Latch is easily operational. Very thick yet light weight. It does accommodate red dots with their removable hood. This sentence is just to get enough characters so I can sum it it, they want a novel.

Easy install, runs much smoother, less reciprocating wait. Alll around good. I was hesitant to go with ceracoat because it’s my first time owning anything that is Ceracoated. I got the multi cam black I have not seen any wear yet.

Very surprised in how happy I am with this sight. My first go to red dot is an SRO, I say this because I have very high standards with equipment and the 509T X2 didn’t let me down. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is on one side of the rear glass the glue they use is a black shiny looking glue that gives a reflection/shine off the red dot creating a small amount of distortion in a small area. Other than that the glass is great and they fixed from the first version. P.S. the dot is so bright on the highest level you can turn it around and use it as a laser!! Joking but it is super bright!!
