Superb, awesome scope

I'm very impressed with BDX scopes. Very nice glass, can be used for zeroed distance without electronics, and the electronics are extremely fast, clear and easy to use,, most importantly they are very accurate.
The scope is premium quality, very solidly build and pleasure to hold and operate.

Very poor in design and quality
Written on Mar 27, 2020
I was looking for couple of low zoom scopes and after reading the reviews decided on MTAC, although I have never had Burris before. Burris ad for the same scope on Amazon claimed it's US made, so it was a decisive factor.
It's made in Philippines. The first look through showed its ugly designs internals, many internal reflections, horrible quality coating and absolutely poor dark glass.
From 1.5 to 2.25 this scope has the same FOV ! Which makes it in reality 2.25-6 scope.
Scope has VERY different eye relieve at 1.5 and 3 which makes it impossible to consistently shouldering it. To say it's designed for competition, it's a bad joke. At low end it's like looking through a keyhole. Terrible.
I hoped that this low magnification scope and it's 42mm lens would produce a bright image. The picture is dark, washed, looking into it next to my Sig Tango6 1-6x24 is not even funny. View through Sig is bright and happy.
The viewfinder is with some cheap reddish coating that distracts my left eye with ugly reflections.
It's probably the worst scope I ever handled, incompetently designed. Never another Burris.
