Excellent brake.

I have the nickel version. Looks great with the Rosco Purebred nickel plated barrel. Looks wicked.

Best charging handle you can buy.

Written on Apr 26, 2026

This is the handle that came out before ambidextrous was all the rage. The problem with those ambidextrous handles is they are more breakable. I saw a Silencerco come apart in a guy's hand once at the range. This handle is one solid piece of metal. So if you want to direct gas away from your face and have the most reliable handle, this is the one. If your handle goes down when charging before a fight, you're toast. Plus it's easy to cerakote. You just have to knock one pin out to remove the latch.

Right QD port kind of blocks the forward assist

Written on Jul 10, 2024

You can still push the forward assist with your thumb, but you can't really bump it with the heel of your hand. I know Eugene Stoner didn't even want a forward assist, blah blah. I'm just the messenger.

Does Not Fit

Written on May 28, 2022

This would not slide over a mil spec Aero Precision buffer tube. I tried taking the screw out and spreading it open and it still would not fit. I probably could have lubed it up and tapped it on using a hammer, but it would have seriously scratched the buffer tube.

Poor quality control

Written on Dec 23, 2021

I was hesitant to buy this because of the reviews saying the dot in not really a dot and the front element is cross threaded and attached at a slant. I thought meh, they just got bad samples. Mine came and sure enough, same problems. The front element is not straight, and not in a small way but in a big way. The "dot" is more like a diagonal line. You can see it grow and change especially with a 3x magnifier attached. Hardly confident for a precise zero.

I hate returning things and I got a good deal when the price dropped one day here on OP, so I'm going to try sending it in for warranty service to Trijicon. Either way I'd have to wrap it up in a box and ship it, so it might as well be to the numbnuts at Trijicon.
